2020 Homecoming details have been announced

Due to COVID-19, changes have been made for 2020 Homecoming on Thursday, Nov. 12 on the Goodman Campus.

Holmes Community College normally features performances from our Fine Arts students, art displays from the art department, alumni meetings and baseball/softball alumni events. Unfortunately, this year these events will not occur.

Tickets for Homecoming will be limited because of capacity restrictions from Gov. Tate Reeves so guests are asked to arrive early to get a ticket.

The 2020 Alumni Association honorees will be announced prior to the 3 p.m. kickoff with Northwest. The honorees include Alumnus of the Year, David Hudson; Distinguished Service Award, Clytice Gardner; Young Alumnus of the Year, Austin Taylor; and Veteran of the Year, Eric Payton-Gilkey.

The 2020 Homecoming Court featuring maids from Goodman, Grenada and Ridgeland will be presented at halftime. The court includes: Freshman Maid Madison Odom of Kosciusko, Freshman Maid Amarie Haylee Anderson of Baldwyn, Student Body Maid Jordyn Nichelle Manning of Canton, Homecoming Queen Mikayla Aliyah Williams of Yazoo City, Sophomore Maid Shawanda Ne’Asha Gray of Enterprise and Sophomore Maid Kaleigh Cosgrove of Little Rock, Goodman Campus; Freshman Maid Breanna Alexis McBrain of Madison, Freshman Maid Brooklyn Gaddis of Flowood, Student Body Maid Deja Armoni Sloan of Madison, Sophomore Maid Taylor Madison Ervin of McComb and Sophomore Maid Holley Kendall Yates of Pisgah, Ridgeland Campus; and Freshman Maid Terra Elizabeth West of Grenada, Freshman Maid Mary Grace Brooks of Winona, Student Body Maid Isabelle Sanders of Carrollton, Sophomore Maid Dalphne Hemphill of Winona and Sophomore Maid Prashauda Roneicia Marie West of Grenada, Grenada Campus.
