Ridgeland Campus offers evening Adult Education classes McGowan Center
Holmes Community College is now offering evening High School Equivalency (HSE) classes on the Ridgeland Campus. The classes, which begin on July 24 and will continue throughout the school year, will be offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. in the McGowan Workforce Training Center.
"We are excited about expanding our Adult Education program to meet the needs of adult learners in the Jackson Metro Area who are not able to attend class during the day," said District Director of Adult Education/HSE Earline Russell-Smith.
Adult Education classes are open to the public, free of charge, for those who have not completed high school and wish to earn their diploma. Students can earn their diploma through taking one of three equivalency exams: the GED, HiSET or TASC.
For more information about the HSE classes and registration, contact Adult Education/HSE instructor Lina Lopez at llopez@holmescc.edu or (601) 605-3433.
