Over this past year, Holmes Community College has reimbursed our students affected by COVID an additional $3.5 million in aid. We helped our students when they needed it most. Our giving began in Spring 2020 during the height of uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
During Spring 2020, our full-time students received $900 and part-time students received $75/credit hour. For Spring 2021, full-time students received $720 funds and part-time students received $60/credit hour. Each Holmes student who completed the FAFSA received funds; therefore, we encourage all students to complete the FAFSA to be eligible for any future CARES Act funds. When completing the FAFSA, students will need Holmes’ Office of Postsecondary Education Identification Code (OPE I.D. = 002408).
Summer terms are PELL eligible and the qualifying funds often fully cover summer tuition. We have always been here for our students. Until the CARES Act funds are exhausted, our Holmes Family will be responding to students needs according to the regulations set forth. There truly is No Place Like Holmes!
