Darleen Taylor Dozier, the Holmes Community College program coordinator/instructor for paralegal technology, was named the 2023 Distinguished Educator by the National Association for Legal Support Professionals (NALS).
Dozier has worked on the Holmes Ridgeland Campus for 15 years. She holds a Master of Social Sciences degree in history/political science/criminal law from Mississippi College and a Bachelor of Science in paralegal studies from The University of Southern Mississippi. In addition to NALS, Dozier is a member of NALA: The Paralegal Association and the Jackson Legal Professional Association (JLPA).
Dozier holds the Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) through NALA and the Accredited Legal Professional (ALP) through NALS. Additionally, she was president of the Metro Legal Professional Association from 2017 – 2021, president of the Mississippi Paralegal Association President in 2013 and received the Pro Bono Award from the Mississippi Paralegal Association in 2007.
