Craft’s career at Holmes began in the fall of 2022 when he joined the Fine Arts Department as the Assistant Director of Bands on the Goodman Campus. During his time there, Craft has showcased exceptional leadership skills, a profound understanding of music education, and a passion for nurturing young talents.
Prior to his time at Holmes, Craft enriched his expertise through four years of service within the Rankin County School District. His academic credentials include a Master’s in Music Education from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Mississippi College, reflecting his unwavering dedication to honing his craft and staying at the forefront of music pedagogy.
Craft’s personal life is equally inspiring, with a supportive family comprising his wife Allison, who serves as the Assistant Band Director at Germantown HS, and their daughter Lillian. Together, they have created a harmonious balance between professional excellence and personal fulfillment, further enhancing Craft’s ability to connect with his students and colleagues alike.
As Craft steps into his new role, he brings with him not only a wealth of experience but also a vision brimming with excitement and great expectations for the Holmes Community College Band Program.
