Slade Redwine’s role at Holmes expands to include Career-Technical Education Coordinator for the Grenada Campus

Slade Redwine, Workforce Development Coordinator, has also been named The Career-Technical Education Coordinator for the Grenada Campus. Redwine joined the Holmes Community College family in a full-time capacity in June of 2007.

Redwine has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Tool and Die Technology from Northwest MS Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, and a Master of Science in Workforce Education Leadership from Mississippi State University. Prior to Holmes, Redwine was a manufacturing engineer at Borg Warner Automotive.

Redwine began his career at Holmes in the Career and Technical Department as an adjunct instructor in the Engineering Technology program. “I had a desire to help people and I knew after my first class that I had found my path”, he stated. “I love the opportunities that Holmes provides to everyone that chooses to further their education.”

Redwine and his wife Pamela Snider Redwine have been married for 25 years. They have two children: Abby (19), who will be a freshman at Holmes this fall, and Andy (16), is a junior at Kirk Academy.

Off campus, he enjoys watching high school sports, college football and baseball, woodworking, gardening and listening to music. He and his family are members of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada.
