Holmes Announces 2026 Grenada Hall of Fame Inductees

GRENADA — Holmes Community College recently recognized outstanding student leaders from the Grenada Campus with induction into the 2026 Holmes Hall of Fame, the college’s highest student honor.

Students selected for this distinction demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, service and commitment to the Holmes community. For the Grenada Campus, honorees include Christopher Michael Beach, Madeline Branch, Sara Cochran and Lexi McClain.

Christopher Michael Beach
Beach is a history major at Holmes Community College. During his time at Holmes, he earned President’s List honors and was an active member of Phi Theta Kappa and the Baptist Student Union. He was elected as Mr. Holmes Grenada.
Upon graduation, Beach plans to either transfer to the University of Mississippi or join the National Guard.

Madeline Branch
Branch is a dietetics and nutrition major at Holmes. She has earned both Dean’s List and President’s honors and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
After graduating from Holmes, Branch plans to transfer to Mississippi State University to continue her studies.

Sara Cochran
Cochran is a pre-radiology major at Holmes Community College. She has earned Dean’s List honors and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Following graduation, Cochran plans to transfer to complete her degree in radiology or radiologic technology.

Lexi McClain
McClain is a pre-medicine major at Holmes. She has earned the Dean’s Scholarship and President’s List honors and was selected as Student Body Maid. She was elected as Miss Holmes Grenada. She has served as President of the Student Government Association and President of Phi Theta Kappa and is also a member of the Baptist Student Union and Content Creator’s Club. Additionally, she has served as a Holmes Ambassador.
After Holmes, McClain plans to attend Mississippi State University before applying to medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, with the goal of pursuing a career in orthopedic surgery.

Hall of Fame students represent the highest ideals of Holmes Community College through scholarship, leadership and service. Their achievements reflect the college’s mission of developing students who make meaningful contributions to their communities and future professions.
