Kosciusko native David Crosby has joined the Marketing and Recruiting Department at Holmes Community College as a Multimedia Specialist.
Crosby, a 1991 East Holmes Academy graduate, has an associate’s degree from Holmes Community College and bachelor’s degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburg.
Prior to Holmes, Crosby worked in the Kosciusko School District as an IT Specialist. He also did some video, photography and graphic design for the district. Before Kosciusko, he worked at Pearl River Resort in the advertising department handling graphic design projects. He was a data entry specialist for Merchants and Farmers/Renasant Bank in Kosciusko. He started his career in the art department for Mississippi Sportswear.
He got his start in video by working with his dad in N-Focus Video Productions. He worked 10 years before branching out on his own to form Fully Grounded Productions. With Fully Grounded, he videos weddings, dance recitals, showchoir/choir productions, plays, films commercials and school homecomings along with other events.
At Holmes, Crosby will be headquartered on the Goodman Campus and will be responsible for video and graphic design projects. He holds certifications in videography and legal videography.
He and his wife, Suzanne have three children – John Alden, Anna Loren and Lila Morgan. John Alden attended Holmes for two years before transferring to Mississippi State while Anna Loren will be a freshman at Itawamba Community College in the fall. Lila Morgan is a student in the Kosciusko School District.
