GOODMAN, MS — G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center is proud to announce the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the G.A. Carmichael Community Student Health Center at Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi.
“Our goal is to bring healthcare closer to the people we serve,” said Dr. James L. Coleman Jr., Chief Executive Officer of G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center. “This partnership with Holmes CC, allows us to meet students where they are while strengthening access to care in the surrounding community.”
Dr. Calvin Ramsey, Internal Medicine Physician with G.A. Carmichael Family Health Center, will provide patient care at the new location, offering convenient access to an experienced healthcare provider directly on campus.
The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting will take place Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi. The community is invited to join G.A. and Holmes Community College in celebrating this exciting new chapter.
