Holmes alumna Madison Allyn Douglas joins the college’s staff

Madison Allyn Douglas of Bentonia joined the Holmes Community College family as the administrative assistant for the Student Counseling Center on the Ridgeland Campus. An alumna of the college, she graduated Holmes in 2016 before transferring to Mississippi State University.

While at Holmes, Douglas was an Ambassador and Freshman Homecoming Maid on the Goodman Campus. After Holmes, she earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising with a minor in business marketing from MSU.

An active member of the community, Douglas is a member of the Junior Auxiliary of Yazoo City where she serves as a board member. She is also the local pageant director for the Miss Magnolia State pageant system. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends and family.

Douglas and her husband Hunter have been married for three years and have a daughter named Saylor who will be two in July.

“I have had a huge love for Holmes Community College ever since my time on campus as a student,” Douglas said. “I am so excited to return to Holmes as an employee and once again be a part of the Bulldog family. There is truly ‘No Place like Holmes!’”
