Holmes' associate in psychology degree named top program by Intelligent.com Intelligent.com, a trusted resource for online degree rankings and higher education planning, has announced the Top 47 Associate in Psychology Degree Programs for 2020, and Holmes Community College made the list.

Intelligent.com, a trusted resource for online degree rankings and higher education planning, has announced the Top 47 Associate in Psychology Degree Programs for 2020, and Holmes Community College made the list. The comprehensive research guide is based on an assessment of 81 accredited colleges and universities in the nation. Each program is evaluated based on curriculum quality, graduation rate, reputation, and post-graduate employment.

This is not the first time Holmes' psychology program has been ranked by an organization; for two years in a row, the college was ranked No. 2 for Best Online Associate in Psychology Programs by TheBestSchools.org. Additionally, in 2018, Holmes became the first community college in the nation to offer a psychology course, PSY 2543 – Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This online course counts toward the 40 hours of training needed to apply for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential. The college also offers traditional psychology courses, including General Psychology, Child Psychology, Adolescent Psychology and Human Growth and Development.

The 2020 Intelligent.com rankings are calculated through a unique scoring system which includes student engagement, potential return on investment and leading third party evaluations. Intelligent.com analyzed 81 schools, on a scale of 0 to 100, with only 47 making it to the final list. The methodology also uses an algorithm which collects and analyzes multiple rankings into one score to easily compare each university.
