Holmes hires Tina Cousino as admissions rep in Grenada

Tina Cousino of Grenada joined the Office of Admissions and Records staff as Holmes Community College’s newest admissions representative for the Grenada Campus.

The Grenada High School graduate holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. Prior to Holmes, Cousino worked at The Children’s Dental Center for five years and at Mississippi State University for three. She is a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she serves as a volunteer in the Pre-K4 and Kindergarten Wednesday night classes. She is also a life member of the Junior Auxiliary of Grenada.

Cousino and her husband, Ricky, have two children, Drake (9) and Cohen (4). She also has two dogs, Heisman and Swayze.

Her hobbies include reading; horseback riding; boating and beaching with friends; rooting for her Mississippi State Bulldogs and Holmes Bulldogs; dreaming of her next travel plans, but mostly being a full-time boy mom. She spends the majority of her time attending her boys’ baseball and soccer games, as well as her husband’s tennis tournaments.

“My goal in life is to love God and love people,” Cousino said. “I have always loved the collegiate atmosphere. From being a student at Mississippi State University, to an employee at Mississippi State University, to now – an employee of Holmes Community College. The sense of family and community is a special feeling that I will always cherish, and I am proud to be Holmes Bulldog.”
