Holmes host MCTM Junior High Math Competition

Holmes host MCTM Junior High Math Competition Winners of the Annual Mississippi Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) District Junior High Math Competition, held at Holmes Community College on March 22, included: (left to right) second place for eighth grade, Dhanush Kondbathani, Germantown Middle School; first place for eighth grade, Leo Mei, Madison Middle School; first place for seventh grade, Landon Tu, Madison Middle School and second place for seventh grade, Andy Lu, Madison Middle School. On Friday, March 22, the Holmes Community College Mathematics Department hosted the Annual Mississippi Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) District Junior High Math Competition for area seventh and eighth grade students in the Joe A. Adams Student Center on the Ridgeland Campus.

Winners of the eight-grade competition were: first place, Leo Mei, Madison Middle School and second place, Dhanush Kondbathani, Germantown Middle School.

Winners of the seventh-grade competition were: first place, Landon Tu, Madison Middle School, and second place, Andy Lu, Madison Middle School.
