Holmes to offer guitar classes at Attala Center

The Holmes Community College Attala Center is offering guitar sessions this fall taught by Drew Townsend. The first 12-week session is the Beginner Guitar class for ages 10-18, which will meet every Tuesday, beginning Sept. 3, from 7-8 p.m. The second course, Adult Guitar, will meet every Thursday, beginning Sept. 5, from 7-8 p.m. Limited seating is available.

Townsend is a graduate of Musician's Institute of Hollywood, California, with a degree in guitar performance. He started playing at age 11, and has studied and performed will all genres of music from metal to jazz.

Classes will be held at the Attala Center, located at 620 West Jefferson Street, Kosciusko.
