Holmes wins 11 awards at 2023 CPRAM Awards Program

Members of the Holmes Community College Marketing/Recruiting and Communications departments brought home 11 awards during the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM) Awards Program on May 22. The awards program was held in conjunction with the 2023 CPRAM Conference held at the Courtyard Marriott in Oxford.

Holmes staff members Morgan Bondurant, Steve Diffey, Katherine Ellard, Jill Sowell and Stephanie Wood each received awards.

Holmes won five awards in the Print Media Division. For the Advertisement Category, Sowell and Wood won first place for “20 on the ACT – Tuition Free;” in the Digital Art/Photo Illustration Category, Wood took home second place for “Freshman Friday 2022 – Major’s Jeep” and for the Newsletter Category, Ellard and Wood took second for “Pawprints.” Additionally, Sowell and Wood won third place in the Viewbook/Admissions & Recruiting Piece Category for “Holmes CC At-A-Glance 2022” and Sowell took home third in the Single Piece of Artwork (non-sports) Category for “Holmes CC Christmas Table Poster.”

In the Electronic Media Division, Holmes received six awards total. In the Web Page Category, Bondurant, Sowell and Wood took home first for “Homecoming 2022;” Bondurant placed first in the TV Spot Category for “Your Goals Start Here” (on gas station TVs) and Bondurant and Wood placed second in the Sports Promo/Hype Videos for “Women’s Soccer Nationals Hype.

In addition, Diffey snagged second place in the Website Category for “holmesathletics.com;” Bondurant and Wood won third in Website for “holmescc.edu” and Bondurant and Wood won third in Multimedia Presentation for “Graduation Presentation Video.”
