Incoming Holmes freshmen could win $5K by announcing their college decision on Instagram

High school seniors who have decided to come to Holmes have an opportunity to win cash prizes up to $5,000 through the College Board's Decision Day Mississippi Social Media Contest. Students just have to share photos or videos announcing their college decision on Instagram. The contest ends May 15.

For more information on the #Collegiance contest, visit https://collegiance.wcm.collegeboard.org/. To enter, students may announce their college decision on Instagram in a video, Boomerang, or photo with the hashtag #collegianceMS. All participants' Instagram accounts must be set to "public" in order for submissions to be considered. The 10 most creative entries win cash prizes, including $5K for the best video.

The Mississippi Contest is open to individuals, 16 or older, who are legal residents of Mississippi who will be attending college for the first time in the fall of 2017. A minor must have his/her parent's or legal guardian's permission to enter.

According to https://www.collegeboard.org/, the College Board is made up of over 6,000 of the world's leading educational institutions. Founded in 1900, the non-profit organization connects students to college success and opportunity. Each year, the College Board helps more than 7 million students prepare for a successful transition to college through programs and services.

Holmes encourages incoming freshmen to post their Instagram posts announcing their decision to become a Bulldog.
