Holmes multimedia specialist Morgan Bondurant has been named Holmes Community College’s new director of marketing. He will move into the role effective July 1.
Bondurant, who has been a part of the Holmes family 2019, is also the owner and operator of Jackson Web Works, a web and graphic design company. He opened Jackson Web Works in 2015 after working as a web developer for Hightower Advertising Agency for nearly five years. Bondurant also worked as an administrative systems programmer for East Mississippi Community College prior to Hightower, where he designed, trained and implemented web applications for the college.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies from Mississippi State University and is currently researching online graduate programs. Bondurant is also a member of the College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM) and he won five awards during the CPRAM Awards Program in 2023, including first place in the TV Spot Category. In his free time, he enjoys playing bass for a local group in the Jackson metro area and pursuing his interests in astro-imaging/photography.
Bondurant and his wife, Lauren, have two sons: Sidney Morgan Bondurant and Samuel Taylor Bondurant. He can often be found volunteering as an assistant coach for his children’s sports (basketball, baseball, soccer and football).
“Morgan has been an invaluable team member since the inception of Marketing and Recruiting,” said current Director of Marketing Dr. Bronwyn Martin. “From providing backend support for our website to officially joining our Holmes family a few years ago, Morgan has been involved in the growth and development of our department from the beginning. As he assumes his new set of responsibilities, I am eager to watch Morgan continue to refine the college’s marketing and recruiting initiatives. He is innovative, creative and brings a new and enhanced skill set to the table as director. Great things are in store for Marketing and Recruiting at Holmes Community College under his leadership.”
