Paralegal student scores highest in nation on accreditation exam
Ann-Clark Price, a graduate of the Paralegal Technology program on the Ridgeland Campus of Holmes Community College, recently passed the Accredited Legal Professional Exam, given by the National Association of Legal Professionals, receiving the highest score in the nation.
"Ann-Clark brought an excitement to the classroom that I'm always glad to see," said Darleen Dozier, Paralegal Technology program coordinator/instructor. "She raised the bar for other students in work performance and classroom participation. She represented our Paralegal program with a high standard by her score on the ALP exam and I look forward to seeing where her career takes her."
A native of McComb, Price earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Holmes in December 2017. While at Holmes, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society and Holmes Association of Legal Students (HALS). Prior to Holmes, she earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from The University of Mississippi in May of 2010.
Upon obtaining her degree from Holmes, Price landed a position as a paralegal for Wilkins Patterson Smith Pumphrey & Doty, a litigation defense firm in Jackson. She resides in Brandon and enjoys traveling, reading, interior design and playing with her three rescue dogs.
Price is engaged to be married in April of 2019, and she and her fiancé plan to stay in the Jackson metro area.
