Physical Therapist Assistant Class of 2025 Celebrated at Graduation Ceremony

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Class of 2025 was honored during a graduation ceremony held December 3, 2025, in the Corey Forum on the Grenada Campus. Family members, friends, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate the achievements of the graduates and recognize the hard work required to complete the rigorous program.

The Physical Therapist Assistant Technology Program is designed to prepare graduates to assist licensed physical therapists in delivering safe, effective, and ethical physical therapy services across a variety of healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on hands-on clinical skills, professional responsibility, and a commitment to lifelong learning within the healthcare field.

The PTA Program begins in the spring semester and challenges students academically and clinically as they progress toward program completion. Graduates of the Class of 2025 demonstrated dedication, resilience, and professionalism throughout their coursework and clinical experiences.

The mission of the Physical Therapist Assistant Department is to improve the quality of life in the community by implementing a high-quality education program that produces knowledgeable and marketable physical therapist assistants. The program is built on the belief that each student has the potential for growth and is capable of developing the skills necessary to succeed in the profession.

Faculty and staff expressed pride in the graduating class and confidence in their readiness to enter the workforce. Graduates were encouraged to continue pursuing professional development and to serve their communities with integrity and compassion as healthcare professionals.
