Ridgeland fitness center announces new hours
The Holmes Community College fitness center has recently changed its hours of operation. The center will be open: Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. Friday: 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Saturday – Sunday: closed Summer Hours (Beginning May 15, 2017) Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Located at 331 Sunny Brook Road in Ridgeland, the fitness center is available to faculty, staff and students on all of Holmes' campuses, free of charge. Employees' spouses and children (ages 17-21 only) may use the fitness center for $10/month, and Holmes alumni and retirees for $20/month. The public is invited to join the center for $60 a month, as well, which includes the cost of the community enrichment classes in addition to facility access. At this time, aqua aerobics is the only community enrichment class being offered.
The Holmes fitness center is also offering a variety of exercise classes, including water aerobics, cycling, abs classes, 5k training, yoga, Pilates, and more. The exercise classes are offered to students to take to earn one credit hour each.
