The Holmes Community College Rotoract Club, advised by Assistant Librarian Jennifer Smith, collected Angel Tree items for The Home Place and delivered them on Thursday, Dec. 5. The Home Place is an assisted living facility in Madison, and over the past several years, different Holmes organizations from the Ridgeland Campus have helped make sure the residents there have a merrier Christmas.
The Rotoract Club is a service organization on the Ridgeland Campus. Sponsored by the Madison-Ridgeland Rotary Club, Rotoract brings students together to do service activities in Madison County and the surrounding areas. The club meets twice a month to promote leadership, professional development and service among college age students.
