Summer/fall registration set for April 3

Holmes Community College registration for the 2018 summer and fall terms will begin on April 3. The college offers transferable academic courses, the Associate in Arts degree, the Associate in Applied Science degree, technical certificates and career certificates, as well as workforce training.

Holmes offers several campus locations, including the Goodman Campus, the Grenada Campus, the Ridgeland Campus, the Yazoo Center in Yazoo City and the Attala Center in Kosciusko.

Classes are offered in various formats, including: face-to-face (on campus day and evening), hybrid (online convenience + face-to-face), eLearning (online via the Internet), 8-week Short Term, 4-week Short Term and Accelerated (10 and 15 days). 

On-campus classes begin: May 29 for Summer First 4-Week Term Full Term (8-Weeks) June 27 for Summer Second 4-Week Term Aug. 13 for Fall First 8-Week Term and Full Term (16-Week) Oct. 8 for Fall Second 8-Week Term

eLearning (online) Classes Begin: May 29 for Summer First 4-Week Term and Full Term (8-Weeks) June 25 for Summer Second 4-Week Term Aug. 20 for Fall First 8-Week Term and Full Term (15-Week) Sept. 17, Fall Second 4-Week Term Oct. 15, Fall 2nd 8-Week Term

Although students may register online at any time beginning April 3, district on-campus registration dates are as follows: Goodman Campus: May 23 for Summer and Fall Terms, 12-3 p.m.; June 21 for Second Summer and Fall Terms, 12-3 p.m., and Aug. 7 for the Fall Term, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Grenada Campus: May 24 for Summer and Fall Terms, 12-3 p.m.; June 19 for Second Summer and Fall Terms, 12-3 p.m., and Aug. 9  for the Fall Term, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Ridgeland Campus: May 22 for Summer and Fall Terms, 12-3 p.m.; June for Second Summer and Fall Terms, 12-3 p.m., and Aug. 8 for the Fall Term, 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Attala Center (Kosciusko): May 24 for Summer and Fall Terms, 4-6 p.m. and Aug. 8 for the Fall Term, 4-6 p.m. Yazoo Center: May 24 for Summer and Fall Terms, 4-6 p.m. and Aug. 9 for Fall Term, 4-6 p.m.

There will also be an opportunity for late registration for fall classes Aug. 13-17 on all campuses.

Students wanting to register for eLearning classes may register via the Internet by tapping on ENROLL NOW or may register at the campuses in Goodman, Grenada or Ridgeland.
