The Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Central Mississippi will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 9 a.m. on the Holmes Community College Ridgeland Campus, 412 W. Ridgeland Ave., Ridgeland.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Participants carry brightly colored flowers, each representing a personal connection to the disease and a commitment to finding a cure.
Each year, the community comes together to raise critical funds and awareness in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Every step taken and every dollar raised brings the Alzheimer’s Association closer to a world without the heartbreaking disease.
