Wood joins Holmes Marketing Department

Stephanie Wood has joined the Holmes Community College Ridgeland Campus as the graphic designer.

Wood attended The University of Mississippi as a graphic design/art major for one year before transferring to the Art Institute of Atlanta. Since college, she has gained an impressive amount of experience in her field. She has served as a graphic designer for Hightower Advertising Agency in Madison, as art director for Hederman Brothers Printing, and as an art director for Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB).  Wood is also the current part-owner of Anchor Art Co., which is a full service professional graphic and web design company with cumulative experience of over 20 years in the industry.

Wood has earned several awards for her work, receiving a Gold Addy Award for a mixed media campaign, a Silver Addy Award for a fundraising brochure, and a College Public Relations Association of Mississippi Award for an alumni publication. Wood has volunteered throughout her community, helping the Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capital Area, Pinelake Church, as well as March of Dimes. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, archery, and kayaking.

Wood and her husband Kevin, also a graphic designer, have a two-year-old daughter, Allison, and reside in Brandon.
