Brenda Dorris named Holmes Grenada CTE administrative assistant

Brenda Dorris has been named Career Technical Education administrative assistant for the Holmes Community College Grenada Campus. She was previously the business office/financial aid advisor for Grenada.

Before she began her career at Holmes, Dorris was employed with Grenada Lower Elementary School as a library assistant. Prior to working in education, she served as owner and operator of Reflection of Beauty. She holds an Associate of Arts degree from Holmes, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and a master’s of adult continuing education in counseling psychology from the University of West Alabama.

Dorris is an AmeriCorps alumni, Booster president for Grenada High School girls’ basketball team and a member of Binford Chapel United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, traveling and spending time with her family.

“I firmly stand behind the saying, ‘There is No Place Like Holmes,’” Dorris said.
