Edwards joins Holmes Ridgeland Campus staff as admissions representative

Jada Ivy Edwards has joined the staff at Holmes Community College as an admissions representative on the Ridgeland Campus.

A Holmes alumna, Edwards graduated from the college in May 2022 before continuing her education at Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education in December 2024.

Her previous work experience includes positions with Deep South Spirit and MEA Medical Clinics. Edwards is a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her two dogs, Lucy and Piper.

As a student at Holmes, Edwards was a cheerleader on the Goodman Campus, where she met her husband, Pearce, a former Holmes Ambassador. The couple now lives in Ebenezer, less than 10 miles from where they first met.

Edwards said she is excited to return to Holmes in this new role and looks forward to helping future students begin their college journey.
