Holmes to offer CDL Class A Permit Prep Class in Yazoo City

As the demand for skilled drivers continues to rise, Holmes Community College is stepping up to provide opportunities for individuals seeking careers in the transportation industry. The college’s Workforce Development Department is offering a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) Class A prep class at the Yazoo City location.
The CLP prep class, designed to prepare students for the CDL permit test, will be held on Feb. 10, 11 and 13 from 7 a.m.- noon. The cost of the course is $25, and participants must be at least 18 years old to enroll. Successfully obtaining a CDL Class A permit opens doors to apply for Holmes’ lineman program as well as the professional truck driving program.
