As the demand for skilled drivers continues to grow, students are finding new opportunities in the transportation industry. Holmes Community College’s Workforce Development Department is offering a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) Class A permit prep class in Kosciusko and Goodman. This class, which will prepare individuals to take their CDL permit test, will run from Sept. 9 -13 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $25.
A CDL Class A permit qualifies individuals to apply for the lineman program, as well as the professional truck driving program.
