Miletello joins Goodman Campus Police force

Grenada native Matt Miletello recently joined the Goodman Campus police force as a patrolman.

Miletello came to Holmes in June from the Winona Police Department, where he served as captain and investigator. Prior to going to Winona, he worked at the Grenada Police Department, where he was the animal control officer from 2013-16 and then went to the police academy at Mississippi Delta and served as a patrolman at Grenada from 2016-17. He is certified in criminal investigation and is also a firearms instructor.

He also was a sergeant in the Mississippi Army National Guard from 2008-15 as an infantryman.

The Grenada High School graduate has an associate’s degree in forestry from Holmes Community College. He is also in flight school at Circle S in Starkville.

He is married to Corey Jackson Miletello, and they have a daughter, Allie, who is two. In his spare time, he is a “girl dad”, history buff and an aviation enthusiast.
