Price named Director of Business Services for Holmes

Holmes Community College is proud to announce the appointment of Lucas Price as the new Director of Business Services.

A proud alumnus of Holmes, Price brings a strong background in accountancy and higher education administration, along with a deep-rooted passion for the institution. He holds an associate degree from Holmes, as well as a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Professional Accountancy from Mississippi State University.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lucas to the Finance Department – and, more importantly, to the Holmes family. He brings a wealth of accounting knowledge to an already experienced and talented team in the HCC Business Office. It’s especially meaningful to add a highly accomplished Holmes graduate who is passionate about serving the students of his alma mater, further proving that there truly is ‘No Place like Holmes.’”

Before returning to Holmes, Price served with distinction in the College of Business Development at Mississippi State University. His accomplishments include serving on the Student Advisory Board for the MSU Adkerson School of Accountancy, being named to the Holmes Hall of Fame and the Phi Theta Kappa All-Mississippi Academic Team, earning a spot on the President’s List every semester at Holmes and being honored as Mr. Holmes for the Goodman Campus. Price was also involved on campus as a member of the Holmes Connection!, Coachmen, Chorale and Baptist Student Union.

“Holmes has always held a special place in my heart,” Price said. “From the well-respected, professional staff to the unmistakable sense of community in the air, I cannot wait to get started. There is truly ‘No place like Holmes.’”

Outside the office, Price enjoys playing golf and pickleball. He and his wife, Macey, are active members of First Baptist Church Kosciusko.
