Bobbie Horne has returned to the Holmes Community College family full-time as an eLearning instructor. She teaches business/accounting courses online and is the lead online instructor for the business/accounting department. She had been working at Coastal Carolina Community College as an adjunct business/accounting instructor since 2017.
Horne first began working at Holmes in 2007 at the Attala Education Center in Kosciusko and then worked as an online math navigator. Later, she worked full-time on the Grenada Campus as a business/accounting instructor and department chair.
A Holmes alumna, Horne earned her associate degree from the college in 2002 before earning a Bachelor of Accountancy in 2004 and a Master of Accountancy in 2005 from the University of Mississippi.
Horne is a member of Peach Creek Baptist Church in Como and enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies in her free time. She is married to Dustin Horne, who is a full-time instructor at Northwest Community College. They have three children: Laike (15), Laila (11) and Lane (10).
