Members of the Holmes Community College Communications and Marketing/Recruiting departments brought home 9 awards from the 2019 College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM) annual conference held May 20-21 on the Holmes Ridgeland Campus.
This year's conference, "Innovate," featured roundtable discussions, four speaker sessions, networking and an awards luncheon. Approximately 75 public relations and marketing professionals from across the state attended the conference. Mary Margaret Busby, Steve Diffey and Katherine Ellard from the Communications Department and Bronwyn Martin, Stephanie Wood and Barin von Foregger (now with Mississippi Public Broadcasting) from the Marketing/Recruiting Department each received awards. Grenada Campus Vice President Dr. Michelle Burney also received an award.

This year, Holmes had three employees on the CPRAM Board, as well. Busby served as past-president, Diffey as scholarship chair and von Foregger as president-elect. For the 2019-20 Board, Diffey will remain scholarship chair.
