Beginning in Fall 2020, Holmes Community College will begin offering welding in a hybrid format for students at the Attala and Ridgeland campuses.

Holmes Community College registration for the 2020 summer and fall terms will begin on April 14. The college offers transferable academic courses, the Associate in Arts degree, the Associate in Applied Science degree, technical certificates and career certificates, as well as workforce training.

The 2020 HCC Sports Hall of Fame Banquet scheduled for Thursday, April 2, has been cancelled for this year due the growing concern over the coronavirus.

The Grenada Campus has completed their courtyard addition to the outdoor space next to the Campus Grill.

Jackson, Mississippi — Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) will recognize 13 college presidents including Holmes Community College President Dr. Jim Haffey with the Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction during PTK Catalyst 2020, the Society’s annual convention, April 2-4 in the Greater Dallas Area in Texas.

Not only does Holmes alumnus Sam Ingram of Madison make his mark on the football field, he also does in the art world after one of his pieces honoring the late Kobe Bryant went viral over the weekend.
