The Holmes Community College family is saddened to learn of the passing of longtime Holmes Foundation President Dr. Donald E. Phillips. Dr. Phillips, 84, an alumnus, former athlete and coach, died on Feb. 2 at his home in Brandon.
Holmes Community College Ridgeland Campus Academic Dean Tonya Lawrence was presented with a Patriot Award from the Mississippi Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) on Thursday, Feb. 2.

The Holmes Community College Rotoract Club, advised by Assistant Librarian Jennifer Smith, recently collected Angel Tree items for The Home Place and delivered them on Dec. 7.
