Legacy Club odyssey to Nashville The Holmes Community College Foundation Legacy Club recently took a trip to Nashville.
Lead by Foundation President, Dr Donald Phillips, and Vice President for Institutional Research and Student Affairs, Dr. Lindy McCain, the group departed the Goodman campus, stopped by the Grenada campus, where the Holmes CC President Dr Jim Haffey and his wife joined the group on the new Holmes bus, and traveled north to Tennessee on Interstate 55.
While in Nashville, the Club toured the city, including a view of the State Capitol and passed down Music city row, where many famous music stars got their start, and still record. They enjoyed an evening of entertainment at the Grand Ole Opry.
The club expressed deepest appreciation to Steven "Snake" Groves for driving the group safely there and back. He did a tremendous job in handling the bus and its passengers, club members noted.
The Legacy Club is composed of administrators, educators, Board of Trustee members, donors and friends of Holmes CC.
