Officer Sytaria Weathersby joined the Holmes Community College Ridgeland Campus Police Department on Feb. 3. She came to Holmes from the Copiah County Sheriff’s Office. Prior to the Sheriff’s Office, Officer Weathersby worked for Hinds Community College and Jackson State University.
Officer Weathersby, a native of Braxton, is an alumni of Piney Woods School (high school) and Hinds Community College. In addition to her position as a police officer, she is the owner and a barber at Supreme Cutz by T in D’Lo. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
