Professional Truck Driver program to begin April 11 at Attala Center

The deadline to apply for the Professional Truck Driver Training Program at the Attala Center is April 7. Classes will begin on April 11.

The Professional Truck Driver Training Program at Holmes is an 8-week program that prepares students to enter the commercial truck driving industry. Classes meet Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The program includes classroom lectures, controlled-driving environment, and road driving to provide instruction in operating diesel powered vehicles, Department of Transportation rules and regulations, shifting techniques, pre- and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading cargo, and keeping necessary records.
