November 8 is Military Appreciation Night at Holmes Community College. All military (both active and retired) will be admitted free to tomorrow night’s basketball games at 6/8 p.m. in Frank Branch Coliseum.

A scholarship honoring the late Bobby Eugene and JoAnn Robertson Killebrew is being established at Holmes Community College. The Killebrews lived in Durant until 1976, and thereafter in Forest before Mrs. Killebrew passed away in 2013 and Mr. Killebrew in 2016.

Holmes Community College Workforce Development is offering a variety of professional and personal development courses during the fall of 2018. All courses will be held in the Media Room of the D.P. “Pat” McGowan Workforce Training Center on the Ridgeland Campus.
The Holmes Community College Yazoo County Educational Center is offering community classes this fall. Two of the courses – Success Skills I and Residential Wiring – still have spots available for those who are interested.
On Friday, September 21, the Two-Year College English Association of Mississippi (TYCAM) held its annual conference at the Eagle Ridge Conference Center in Raymond, and three Holmes employees were named to leadership positions.
Members of the Holmes Community College Gaming Club (Goodman Campus) and HAVOC (Ridgeland Campus) participated in a half-day gaming tournament (CSG 1.10) and fellowship event at C Spire headquarters in Ridgeland on Saturday, Sept. 15.
