Holmes Community College will open its doors to students at its newest location – the Yazoo County Economic Development and Educational Center in Yazoo City – on Aug. 17.
Housing officials announced today that some Fall students who’ve requested dorm rooms may have to forfeit their rooms if they do not meet the class hour requirement by July 31.
Holmes Community College has recently been awarded a $283,339 grant from The Department of Education’s Student Support Services program.
Brett Spell, a recent Holmes Community College graduate and Lexington native, was recently selected to participate in the undergraduate portion of the Mississippi Rural Dentists Scholarship Program (MRDSP).
Lily Fran McCrory, a recent graduate of Holmes Community College and Lexington native, was recently selected to participate in the undergraduate portion of the Mississippi Rural Physicians Scholarship Program (MRPSP).
